Les différences entre communauté de commune et d'agglomération
Les exigences juridiques qui diffèrent entre les communautés de communes et d’agglomération sont :
- Le critère de seuil démographique : il n’y a pas de minimum pour la communauté des communes, alors que pour la communauté d’agglomération il est de 50 000 habitants
- Le régime fiscal (qui peut être à fiscalité propre, à fiscalité additionnelle, …)
- La dotation globale de fonctionnement (DGF) versée par l’Etat,
- Les compétences qui peuvent être transférées par les communes membres.
